Yes and No, when you have a Black Magic Tan and you see an instant result, this is the bronzer in the product that gives you the feel of an instant tan, the DHA is clear. Depending on the product that you have been sprayed with either the 1 hour, 2 hour Tan or the 8 hour Premium will determine when you shower, when you shower you will see the bronzer wash off as this was just temporary. Development time is 6-8 hours for all products.
Swimming in chlorinated pools may cause your tan to wear quickly, when leaving the pool or ocean after a swim dry yourself down by patting your body not rubbing it dry with the towel, this will help maintain your spray tan.
Dermatologists will enthusiastically agree that Tanning with DHA formulation is much safer than tanning for prolonged hours in the sun. Skin allergies are not common however we do recommend that you do a sample area if you are a first time spray tanner.

There are no tests showing that spray tanning during pregnancy is harmful. The ingredient in the tanning solution that gives you your tan is DHA and this is made from sugar cane, and has no known problems. We recommend you consult with your Doctor.

It’s advisable when spray tanning a client’s face that some protective layer of Vaseline or lip gloss to be applied to the lips to protect the mucous membranes. Whilst no test or studies show that it is DHA is dangerous following these guidelines will ensure the full safety of your client.

Waxing is recommended at least 24 hours prior to having your spray tan, this is to ensure the pores of your skin are closed. Please discuss with your spray tan technician.
The processing time for the 2 Hour range is 6-8 hours, 2 Hour tans can be washed off after 2 hours, it is important that you do not leave it on for longer than 6 hours, please follow the instructions of your spray tanning technician. Do not shower for longer than a few minutes, refrain from using soaps if possible, try rinsing off the bronzer only. 2 hour tans are not suited to some skin types. This will result in varying tans from client to client.
Some medication can affect your hormones and bodies PH levels in your skin which can change the outcome of the tan.
If you have a scar or new tattoo it best to cover them up until it has healed over 100%.
It is ok to tan 24 hours AFTER but NOT BEFORE as the IPL will tattoo the colour of the tan into your skin. All tan should be removed before your next laser treatment.
I’m wearing a moisturiser will it affect my spray tan?
Some moisturisers can act as a barrier against your spray tan. We suggest using our pre tan prep spray to remove oil, make up and excess moisturiser before your spray tan.

Yes, however you may nominate to have the parcel left without a signature (e.g. on your door step). Otherwise we suggest delivery to a home or business address where someone is available to sign for delivery during business hours. Customers are responsible to have someone at the delivery address to sign for and accept the delivery. Cost for re-delivery attempts will be passed to the customers of the delivery address if unattended at the time of delivery.
